Welcome to the winter wonderland

Here in Anterselva, framed by the 3,000-metre peaks of the main Alpine ridge, the cold season really does have something magical about it. The winter comes you to the sparkling landscape, the surrounding skiing areas and of course the popular cross-country skiing paradise in our valley. Snow, crisp temperatures, blue skies and lots of cosy moments are constant companions throughout the Anterselva winter.

By the way: you can safely store and dry your winter sports equipment and shoes in our large ski room.

Here in the Plan de Corones region, skiing is an extremely popular winter sport. The Plan de Corones, South Tyrol’s No. 1 ski mountain with over 100 km of perfectly groomed slopes and an unforgettable views of the Dolomites is just a few minutes´ drive away. Only 3 km from us you will find the small village lift “Riepen”, a practice slope especially suitable for families and beginners.

Glide through the snow, become one with nature, the only thing you can hear is your own breath. Cross-country skiing in Anterselva means enjoying nature in a special way. The cross-country tracks around the biathlon centre are perfectly prepared and waiting for you.

Would you like to try your hand at being a biathlete? Anterselva is the perfect place. The world-famous arena is only a few minutes’ drive from your holiday home. Here you can try your hand at this fascinating blend of cross-country skiing and shooting. Do you feel like something new?

By the way: the biggest sporting spectacle in South Tyrol takes place every year in January: that is when the biathlon world comes together in Anterselva for a week. In 2026 our valley will even be the venue for the Olympic competitions of this fascinating sport.
